A case study is only useful if it includes the parts a shop would rather leave out: what the original estimate missed, how long parts actually took, and what the final number was against the first one.
What a case study here includes
Anything less than this is a photograph with a caption.
Vehicle and damage: Year, make, model, and what actually happened, rather than a vague description of an incident.
Original estimate versus final: Including what teardown found and what the supplement covered. On major RV losses the supplement often exceeds the original.
Method: How the structural work was done and measured, not just what was replaced.
Time in shop: Split into shop time and waiting on parts, because they are different problems.
Who paid: Carrier, customer, or split, and what drove that outcome.
