We bill every major carrier direct, so you pay your deductible and nothing else up front. That includes the general auto carriers and the RV specialty carriers, which matter because RV specialty policies cover things that a standard auto policy does not.
Carriers we work with
Direct billing means we invoice your carrier and you are not funding the repair while you wait to be reimbursed. On a repair that runs into five figures, that difference is not a convenience, it is whether the repair is possible at all.
We bill the following direct: Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, AAA SoCal, AAA Enterprises, Mercury, Allstate, American Family, Wawanesa, National General, CSAA, Foremost, Liberty Mutual, Tesla Insurance, Cincinnati, AGWS, Good Sam, The Hartford, National Interstate, Safeco. If yours is not listed, we almost certainly still bill them. Call and ask.
General auto carriers: Progressive, GEICO, State Farm, Allstate, Mercury, AAA SoCal, Wawanesa, Liberty Mutual, American Family, CSAA, and Tesla Insurance.
RV and specialty carriers: Good Sam, Foremost, National General, National Interstate, The Hartford, Safeco, and AGWS.
Commercial and fleet: Commercial policies on box trucks, fleet vans, and municipal units, billed to the carrier or to the agency.
Direct repair relationships: Available on select carriers. A direct repair agreement is a rate and process arrangement, and it does not obligate you to use us.
Why the specialty carriers matter on an RV
An RV specialty policy from a carrier like Good Sam, Foremost, or National Interstate is written for the vehicle. It commonly includes coverage categories a standard auto policy does not, for example full timer liability, personal effects inside the coach, emergency expense while the unit is being repaired, and in some cases coverage for permanently attached equipment.
That last one is what matters most on modified coaches and conversions. If your solar array, lithium bank, or interior build is covered as attached equipment, it is claimable. If you are running a standard auto policy on a converted van, frequently it is not, and you find that out at the worst possible moment.
What we need from you to bill a carrier
Direct billing is straightforward once we have the file open. Four things get it moving on the first call.
Carrier and claim number: If a claim has not been opened yet, we can advise on how to describe the loss, but the claim has to come from you.
Adjuster contact: Name, phone, and email. Once we have that, the technical conversation moves to us.
Policy details: Whether you carry collision, comprehensive, or both, and your deductible amount. This determines what is claimable rather than customer pay.
Documentation of modifications: Receipts and photographs for solar, lithium, appliances, interior work, and paint. This is the single highest value thing you can bring.
Where specialty policies differ from auto policies
Owners are often surprised to learn what their policy actually is. A converted Sprinter insured on a standard commercial auto policy is covered as a cargo van, which means the conversion may not be covered at all.
RV specialty policies commonly add categories that matter after a loss: coverage for permanently attached equipment, personal effects inside the coach, emergency expense while the unit is in the shop, and full timer liability for people who live in the vehicle. If you have made significant modifications, it is worth confirming with your agent which policy type you actually hold, and doing that before you need it rather than after.
Working with an adjuster who has never seen a coach
This is the normal case rather than the exception. Most adjusters handle passenger vehicles almost exclusively, and an RV, a fifth wheel, or a converted van arrives as an unfamiliar problem inside a process built for cars.
That is not a reason for conflict. It is a reason to give them something concrete to work with. An adjuster presented with measurements against published factory dimensions, photographs of the framing behind a removed panel, and an itemized build list can approve scope quickly. The same adjuster given a verbal description of hidden damage has no basis to approve anything, and will default to the estimate already in the file.
In practice this is the main thing we do on a claim beyond the repair itself. We move the technical conversation off the owner and onto evidence, which is a far better position for everybody including the carrier.
What direct billing does not change
Direct billing is an administrative arrangement, not a coverage expansion. Your deductible is still yours and is due at pickup. Items your policy excludes remain excluded regardless of who invoices whom.
It also does not mean the carrier controls the repair. We are working for you. When a carrier's scope is short of the actual damage, we submit a supplement with evidence rather than trimming the repair to fit their first number.
Handling a claim from Buena Park
Our facility is at 23281 La Palma Ave, Yorba Linda, CA 92887, roughly 13 miles and about 20 minutes from Buena Park by way of the 91 and the 5. A large share of the claims we handle come from Buena Park, Anaheim, Fullerton, Cypress, La Palma, and the wider Orange County area.
Proximity matters more on a claim than people expect. An adjuster inspection, a teardown, and a supplement all move faster when the shop and the vehicle are in the same county as the adjuster, and when the vehicle can be brought in rather than transported twice.
All work is performed in shop. We do not run route service. Frame measurement, structural correction, and refinishing require equipment that does not travel, and a claim documented properly needs the vehicle somewhere it can be opened up and photographed under controlled conditions.
What to do next
If you have an open claim, call (714) 909-1444 with your carrier and claim number and we will tell you where it stands and what is likely missing from the scope. That conversation costs nothing and it frequently changes the outcome, whether or not the repair ends up here.
If you have damage and have not filed yet, photograph everything before you move the vehicle, get it out of the weather if the envelope is breached, and then call. Filing order matters, and a few minutes of guidance beforehand is worth considerably more than the same conversation a week later.
A written estimate is $150 and is credited against the repair once you authorize it. We bill every major carrier direct, so you cover your deductible and nothing else up front.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to pay up front and get reimbursed?
No. We bill your carrier direct on every major policy. You pay your deductible at pickup and we invoice the carrier for the balance, which matters a great deal on repairs that run into five figures.
My carrier is not on your list. Can you still handle it?
Almost certainly. The list covers the carriers we see most often, not the limit of who we bill. Call with your carrier and claim number and we will confirm before you bring the vehicle in.
Does a direct repair relationship mean I have to use you?
No. A direct repair agreement is a commercial arrangement about rates and process between a shop and a carrier. Under California Insurance Code section 758.5 you choose your repair facility regardless of any network arrangement.
Will you handle the adjuster conversation for me?
Yes, and that is usually the better arrangement. We deal with adjusters every day, we know how to present a supplement with evidence, and it moves a technical negotiation onto ground we are comfortable on and off your plate.
